World Harvest Fellowship - Auckland was not built in one day.
Like rainbows which are not made without millions of droplets of rain,
WHF-Auckland was not built without lots of pain.
But throughout the journey, every one of us
could feel God's hand, every step of the way.
To Him be the glory.
OUR MISSION
Bring in,
Train for,
Send out.
We adhere to the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:16-20:
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
So, the first part of our mission is to bring in more people, introduce them to God's grace and the compassion of Jesus Christ. To bring in more people to have a closer relationship with God.
For the harvest to be done, we need to train them through God's Word how to be "fishers of men." Every life that Christ touches is transformed. It is through this experience of His great love, that we prepare ourselves to be ready for His work when the time comes.
At His perfect timing, we send them out to the mission-field through God's love. With this mission in our hearts, we are emboldened to send out the people that God has prepared and anointed to multiply.

OUR VISION
To glorify God
by planting healthy churches that plant healthy churches
in New Zealand and beyond.
The operative word is Healthy. Our vision is not to just plant churches, but to see to it that these churches are healthy, and we want to guide every member to understand the importance of this vision. With this vision we provide a stable framework that can outlast internal changes. Central to this vision is Jesus Christ, as He is the reason for our existence (the Mission) and where we are going (the Vision).
